The cake was triple chocolate with raspberries and whipped cream on top. She planned it all out months ago and reminded me at least once a week that we needed to buy fresh raspberries for the top and not to forget the whipped cream.
It was so pretty I really hesitated to write on it with pink icing, but hey, it wasn't about me, this day was all for her and that was what she wanted. Unfortunately my hands started shaking really badly right as I applied the tip to the cake so it didn't look so great in the end. But it tasted out of this world.
After her presents she went outside with her best friend who was staying the weekend and played in the little inflatable pool I bought for the littler cousins who were coming to visit later in the day. The first photo is of her getting a little payback from her friend for splashing her. They had a great time. I had a great time. I just can't believe how fast it's flying by.
